Terms, Conditions & Event Disclaimer

Effective Date: August 10th, 2026

These Terms, Conditions & Event Disclaimer apply to the Baseline Rally website, ticket purchases, registrations, and events organized by Baseline Rally LLC, also referred to as “Baseline Rally,” “BLR,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge that these Terms, Conditions & Event Disclaimer apply to your use of the Baseline Rally website.

By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, submitting participant information, or selecting a checkbox stating that you agree, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, the applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any event-specific rules or agreements presented to you.

Participation in a Baseline Rally event may also require the completion of a separate Event Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver. Purchasing a ticket or accepting these website terms does not replace any separately required waiver.

2. Nature of Baseline Rally Events

Baseline Rally organizes leisure driving experiences, automotive gatherings, car meets, and related community events.

BLR events are not races, timed competitions, speed trials, or opportunities to disregard traffic laws. All participants must operate their vehicles safely, responsibly, and in accordance with all applicable traffic laws.

BLR does not encourage speeding, reckless driving, street racing, distracted driving, impaired driving, or any other unlawful or unsafe activity.

3. Driver Responsibilities

Every participating driver must be at least 18 years old and is solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining a valid driver’s license.
  • Maintaining current vehicle registration.
  • Maintaining all legally required automobile insurance.
  • Ensuring their vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and legally permitted to operate.
  • Following all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
  • Operating their vehicle safely and responsibly.
  • Ensuring that all passengers follow applicable event rules.
  • Paying for fuel, tolls, parking, citations, repairs, towing, and other personal expenses unless otherwise stated.

Baseline Rally does not inspect, approve, certify, or guarantee the safety or mechanical condition of any participant vehicle.

4. Assumption of Risk

Participation in an automotive event may involve risks, including but not limited to vehicle collisions, mechanical failures, changing road conditions, weather, traffic, construction, actions of other drivers, property damage, bodily injury, serious injury, or death.

By participating, attendees voluntarily accept the risks associated with driving, riding in a vehicle, attending automotive gatherings, entering event locations, and participating in related activities.

Each event may require participants to review and sign a separate Event Participation Agreement and Liability Waiver. These website terms do not replace that waiver.

5. Participant Conduct

Participants must behave safely and respectfully toward other attendees, event staff, sponsors, businesses, venue employees, members of the public, and surrounding communities.

Baseline Rally reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a participant from an event for conduct including:

  • Reckless or dangerous driving.
  • Excessive speeding.
  • Street racing, burnouts, drifting, or similar activity outside an authorized setting.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Harassment, threats, fighting, or disruptive behavior.
  • Damage to private or public property.
  • Failure to follow instructions from BLR organizers or venue staff.
  • Conduct that may harm the reputation, safety, or operation of Baseline Rally.

A participant removed for unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate conduct may not be entitled to a refund.

6. Routes, Schedules and Event Changes

Routes, stops, departure times, arrival times, venues, activities, vendors, sponsors, and event schedules are subject to change.

Baseline Rally may modify, postpone, relocate, shorten, or cancel an event because of weather, road closures, emergencies, venue availability, safety concerns, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other operational needs.

Participants are responsible for reviewing event communications and arriving at the correct locations at the stated times. BLR is not responsible for participants who become separated from the group, miss a stop, arrive late, or fail to receive information because they provided inaccurate or outdated contact information.

7. Tickets, Transfers and Refunds

All ticket sales are subject to the refund and transfer policy displayed on the applicable event or ticket page.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Tickets may not be resold for more than their original purchase price.
  • Ticket transfers require prior approval from Baseline Rally.
  • Merchandise, processing fees, personalized items, and expenses already committed to an event may be nonrefundable.
  • Missing an event, arriving late, leaving early, experiencing vehicle problems, having a personal scheduling conflict, or being removed for misconduct does not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.
  • Refunds, credits, or transfers offered for a postponed or canceled event will be handled according to the policy published for that event.

Any refund or credit voluntarily offered by Baseline Rally does not create an obligation to provide the same accommodation in another situation.

8. Passengers and Minors

All drivers participating in a Baseline Rally event must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Individuals under 18 years of age are not permitted to drive in any Baseline Rally event under any circumstances.

Individuals under 18 may participate only as passengers and must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Written permission must be provided by the minor’s parent or legal guardian on the day of the event.
  • The minor’s parent or legal guardian must be present at the event.
  • The parent or legal guardian must sign all required participation agreements, liability waivers, and consent forms before the minor may participate.
  • The minor must ride with a registered adult driver who meets all BLR participation requirements.

Baseline Rally LLC reserves the right to refuse participation to any minor if the required parent or legal guardian is not present, written permission is not provided, or required documents are incomplete.

Drivers are responsible for ensuring that all passengers understand and follow event rules. Purchasing a passenger ticket does not provide a vehicle or guarantee transportation. Passengers must arrange transportation directly with a registered driver.

9. Photography, Video and Media

Baseline Rally events may be photographed, recorded, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise documented by BLR, sponsors, attendees, venues, photographers, videographers, and members of the public.

By entering an event area, participants understand that their name, image, voice, likeness, vehicle, license plate, and other identifying features may appear in event-related content.

Unless separate written arrangements have been made, participants grant Baseline Rally LLC permission to use event photographs and recordings for promotional, editorial, archival, advertising, social media, website, sponsorship, and commercial purposes without additional compensation.

BLR cannot control photographs or recordings independently created or published by attendees, businesses, media organizations, or members of the public.

10. Sponsors, Vendors and Third Parties

Baseline Rally may feature sponsors, venues, restaurants, museums, vendors, photographers, videographers, and other third-party organizations.

The inclusion or promotion of a third party does not mean that Baseline Rally owns, controls, or guarantees that organization’s products, services, property, conduct, availability, or safety.

Participants are responsible for reviewing and following the separate rules and policies of each venue, vendor, or third-party provider.

11. Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their vehicles, keys, phones, cameras, merchandise, equipment, and other personal property.

Baseline Rally LLC is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, towed, ticketed, or left behind during an event, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

12. Website and Event Information

BLR makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate website and event information. However, information may occasionally contain errors, become outdated, or change without immediate notice.

Event descriptions, estimated attendance, schedules, routes, photographs, sponsor benefits, merchandise images, and other website content are provided for general informational purposes and may not represent final event details.

BLR reserves the right to correct errors and update information at any time.

13. Electronic Acceptance

Checking an agreement box, purchasing a ticket, submitting a registration, signing electronically, or otherwise indicating acceptance may constitute your electronic agreement to the applicable terms and event documents.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information. Baseline Rally may retain records showing the date, time, account, email address, transaction, or other information associated with an electronic acceptance.

14. Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Baseline Rally LLC and its members, managers, organizers, volunteers, representatives, sponsors, photographers, videographers, venues, and partners are not responsible for losses, injuries, damages, claims, expenses, or delays arising from:

  • The independent actions of drivers, passengers, attendees, or members of the public.
  • Traffic accidents or traffic violations.
  • Vehicle breakdowns or mechanical failures.
  • Road, weather, construction, or traffic conditions.
  • The acts or omissions of third-party businesses, venues, vendors, or service providers.
  • A participant’s failure to follow event instructions or applicable laws.
  • Risks inherent in driving, riding in, displaying, or being around motor vehicles.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit responsibility where doing so would be prohibited by law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, participants agree to be responsible for claims, losses, expenses, or damages caused by their own unlawful, negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct.

This includes conduct involving their vehicle, passengers, guests, or violation of these terms, event rules, or applicable laws.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court with jurisdiction in Michigan, unless the parties agree to another lawful dispute-resolution process.

17. Severability

If any portion of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Changes to These Terms

Baseline Rally LLC may update these terms as its events, website, or policies change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the most recent version.

The terms and waiver in effect when a ticket is purchased or an event registration is completed will apply to that transaction unless otherwise required by law.
